The Round Fire Resistant Firepit Deck Pad is made from heavy woven fiberglass with a durable non-skid latex backing and is UV resistant. Engineered to protect your deck or patio from stray embers or ash, this fire resistant pad will keep your outdoor entertainment area looking new and is easily moved for quick furniture rearrangement. The pad is designed for use with fire pits, fireplaces and chimeneas with a minimum 4-inch bottom clearance. If the bottom clearance of your fire pit is less than 4-inches, it is recommended that you place a patio block or tile under your outdoor fireplace. The block or tile should be thick enough to insulate the pad from continuous heat. This deck pad is fire resistant but not fireproof. It will protect your deck area from an ember or burning log until it can be placed back in the fire. It will not protect your deck from direct heat or intense direct fire. The pad should be moved occasionally to prevent damage to laminate or wood decking. The fire resistant deck pad is also available as a half round or a rectangle.
